WebDeal organized the event and brought IBM's POWER specialist, Morten Vågmo, to discuss the POWER Architecture and Virtualisation. Another specialist from IBM, Jan Ankarstrand, introduced the participants to DB2 on a Virtual POWER Environment, and WebDeal's own Egil Fujikawa Nes wrapped up the session with a discussion about Flexible Hosting with Linux on IBM POWER.

The event ended with some mingling and a round of free drinks to all participants at the SkyBar, on the 34th floor of the hotel, overlooking the city and Oslo fjord.
